USCIS Finally Gets Much Needed Help

The New York Times is reporting that USCIS is finally getting much needed support to process a backlog of new citizen applications from FY 2007 - up nearly double from FY 2006.  Last year, the Department of State implemented similar staffing procedures to process over 16 million passport applications in FY 2007 - up 33 percent from FY 2006.
