myworkvisa.us Supports Sen. Grassley's E-Verify Amendment

To alert our folks, we want to express our support for Senator Chuck Grassley's E-Verify Amendment to the FY2010 Homeland Security Appropriations bill.  This amendment will allow employers when using the E-Verify eligibility employment system to check all employees, not just new hires, for a period of 10 days.  As indicated in the amendment, all employees must be checked or none at all.

As of September 8, all federal contractors and subcontractors are required to use E-Verify.  Overall, we see E-Verify as a key element for paving the way for immigration resolution in 2010.
